Inside the Secret Lounge Where Menswear's Biggest Names are Chilling Out During Fashion Week

New York Fashion Week: Men just started and like any biannual fashion week in any of menswear's other capital cities, what appears to be gathering of the fashion world's ultimate insiders looking at fancy new threads is actually a fast-paced, can-be chaotic few days of running between shows, presentations, appointments, and the office. Is it exciting? Of course. Is it draining? Hell yeah. (I know, we have hard.) But this season, we're not worrying about how to maximize our minimal free time between appointments because we're spending all of it trying to get inside Amazon's swanky Prime Lounge.

Housed in a fake mini mart in a fake gas station inside the NYFW:M Skylight Clarkson Square studios Terminal, Amazon Fashion and East Dane have set up a plush sofa oasis, a bottomless well of iced coffee, a wi-fi-enabled zen retreat, a.k.a. exactly the place you want to be when menswear visual fatigue sets in (there are only so many bomber jackets you can see in a day). Only, you can't be there. Why? Because this is the Prime Lounge and unlike Amazon's all-inclusive Prime status customers can sign up for, entry to this spot can't be bought. In fact, entry to the actual lounge isn't even easy to find (which, yes, is the point).

If you're wondering who will be kicking back here for the next three days, we can tell you they will be famous (Jerry O'Connell), stylish (Shaun White), worth your attention (Travis Mills), and, thanks to some sly velvet rope-age, no one else.
