TOP PARTY PALLETS AND COLOR SCHEMES 2019
Picture a perfect summer evening, the sun is slowly bowing beyond the skyline, painting the city in golden hues. Your highly anticipated event is about to begin, you’re thrilled to meet the occasion that you have been planning for weeks! You swing open the doors, or patiently wait for the elevator to arrive, and find your party right in front of you. When you envision this event, what do you see? Do you picture the people dancing… or the aroma of passed appetizers buzzing by… perhaps you map out the design of the furniture?
As you’re imagining your event, you’re seeing all of these things but they all have something in common: they are drenched in color! As we all know the most important part of any event is the planning, and color scheme is one of the top decisions on your to-do list.
LET’S TALK ABOUT COLORS.
Need to know the trendiest shades of the season? We’ve got you covered! The trend report is in, and these are the top tones you need to consider when event planning this spring and summer. Because it’s summer, of course we are going bold. This fiery pallet is not only popping, but practical! Comprised of oranges, greens, yellows, blues and pinks, these color trends offer a variety of options so you can stay in trend these next few months no matter your style. Pantone Institute has claimed these shades to be the coolest, in the midst of this scorching summer.
Is it getting hot in here, or is it just this first row of swatches? Our first four from fashion week include Fiesta, Jester Red, Turmeric and Living Coral, and we are living for them. Start your summer with a statement and dare to dabble in these reds and oranges. Go with a rouge colored theme or make all your guests wear red! These shades are fantastically fun for a hot soiree summer 2019.
Reds aren’t the only reason to make a statement, take a look at these gorgeous hues! We’ve got a variation on some primary colors and quite a variation in row number 2. Stealing the show in the second row are, Pink Peacock, Pepper Stem, Aspen Gold and Princess Blue. Even if you’re not obsessed with the colors, you’ve got to give some credit to their names. This row screams beach party, birthday party and everything in between! Put the yellow and blue together, or pink and green, make your own party pallet by mixing and matching!
EARTH TONES (…and pink)
We are taking it down a notch in row number three. Although our last four are not as bright, they’re equally as beautiful (we don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings)! Toffee is first in line with a name that fits perfectly to it’s shade, Sweet Lilac comes in at the caboose with the sweetest light pink of the season! Sandwiched in the middle are Terrarium Moss and Mango Mojito (YUM), which look great as a couple or on their own. Something about this row, it’s just so cute!
Whether you’re planning, preparing, attending or critiquing, keep this pallet in mind all summer long. Plan your pedestals in Pink Peacock or switch up your seating by dressing your sofas in Sweet Lilac, or anything in between! We can’t wait to see you party people getting your color on this summer, in trend and good taste!
